Pilot Training

CAV delivers a comprehensive pilot training program that integrates the best practices of agricultural, fire fighting and military aviation. Our training program uses a building block approach to take new or experienced pilots from basic taildragger bush planes to low altitude training in turbine agricultural aircraft and finally to advanced tactics in the Air Tractor 802U.

802 familiarization is designed and instructed by pilots with thousands of hours in Air Tractor aircraft, many of those instructors have extensive experience flying the armored Air Tractor 802 in combat conditions. Advanced tactics instruction is designed and instructed by TopGun and Air Force Fighter Weapons School instructors who can tailor a course of instruction based on the needs, experience and skill level of the customer.

By the end of a CAV training course your pilots will be able to safely operate the Air Tractor, and will have the confidence to take the aircraft into the most inhospitable runways while effectively employing the aircraft sensors and weapons.

Maintenance Training

CAV offers OEM certified maintenance training. Unlike other military aircraft with expensive intermediate and depot level maintenance; we will train your maintenance technicians to do nearly any maintenance required on your Air Tractor fleet.

By the end of our maintenance training your professionals will be able to take the aircraft apart and put it back together, with minimal tools and support.
